Active - Passive Voice worksheet

Understanding Voice in English shows whether the subject acts (active) or receives the action (passive).

Active Voice: Subject performs the action.
      Example: The dog chased the cat.

Passive Voice: Subject receives the action.
        Example: The cat was chased by the dog.
